DIRTY DANCING AT CAMP KATUR.

Last weekend my youngest sister came to Leeds to hang out. By chance my friend Kate suggested going to an outdoor screening of Dirty Dancing so of course that is how we spent our Saturday night- armed with snacks, blankets and a massive watermelon. We had the best time! This is something I've wanted to do in such a long time and it was worth the wait. It was so much fun to check out every else's costumes (I failed big time in that respect), have a dancing lesson, listen to some great music and then snuggle up and watch the film.

Thanks for coming to stay Talitha. Definitely on the hunt for another outdoor screening soon!
TEEPEES FOR ANYONE STAYING THE NIGHT.

HERE WE GO!
DURING THE LAST SCENE BEARLY EVERYONE GOT UP TO JOIN IN, ACCOMPANIED BY A GIANT BEACH BALL AND A REINACTMENT OF THE DANCE BY SOME OF THE STAFF. BRILLIANT.

BURTON CONSTABLE.

While I visited home we spend a few hours at Burton Constable exploring the grounds and enjoying the sunshine.
These kinds of days are the best.

Happy Friday! Hope you have a fun weekend. I have the next week off work so I'm looking forward to spending some time visiting friends.

FAMILY TIME.

Last weekend I managed to pop back to my parent's house and spend a bit of time with some of my favourite people. I feel very blessed to have the family I do, they are incredible and I definitely go on about them too much! The few days I was there were filled with a lot of familiar weekend activities but mainly just talking, laughing and cuddles.
Perfect.

MY LEEDS/ MIDDLETON PARK.

At the beginning of May I headed out to Middleton Park to enjoy the sunshine and a Saturday off. I hadn't been before but it was great! So much bigger than I expected with loads going on. I love that despite living in a city, there are so many green spaces to escape to and explore. In the few hours we were there we walked through the woods, made it to the railway (running since 1758!) and sat in the sunshine. Next time I'm looking forward to finding the rose gardens which will hopefully be in full bloom.

YORK.

As mentioned in my last post, I'm sharing photos from a few days in York! We did a lot of wandering around the city in between sitting in coffee shops and people watching. A few days out was a perfect break and endless chatting about everything didn't hurt either. York is so pretty and I loved having the time to appreciate it. Seeing as it's only a short train ride away we both agreed we need to visit more often.

CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF BUILDINGS, I WAS READY TO MOVE IN.

AUTUMN IN MAY.

It's been a bit quiet over here recently which means life has been busy and it's not really slowing down but that's ok. This month is looking a bit jam packed but I spent the last few days away in York with my best friend to take some time out. I'll share some more photos later but here a a few I captured in the Museum Gardens while we enjoyed the sunshine.

I love that it's Spring and that there are so many flowers and trees alive! Weirdly the colours were very autumnal but beautiful all the same.
