Last month my big brother got married! It was such a fun day, I loved it a lot. Naturally, I couldn't resist capturing a little bit of it so here are about 5 minutes of Mr &Mrs Roberts wedding day.

ZACH & FRANKI.
More and more recently I've been enjoying making little videos. As I'm sure I've mentioned before it is something that I like to do, mainly selfishly, so that I can look back on a day and relive all the moments I remember or may not have remembered. Something we have been doing for years as a family is watching back old home videos and reminiscing on hilarious moments that probably would have been forgotten without a camera being around. Not only do I love watching back the few short films I've made over the past few years but I really love the process of putting them together. It is by no way something that I consider myself skilled out and the clips are often far from perfect technically but I appreciate the challenge and the chance to improve with each one and as imperfect as they may be, they are still memories worth keeping.

FRANCE.
I'm back!
Took a little break there without meaning too but here are a couple of photos from my trip to France at the end of last month. We had a wonderful time doing not very much at all except lying in the sun, eating great food, celebrating a birthday and for me in particular reading, reading, reading but more on that soon.
France is just gorgeous so expect a lot of pretty buildings and skies, my specialties.

18TH BIRTHDAY.
A couple of weeks ago my little sister had a birthday and we all got together to celebrate Wes-Anderson-style. It feels crazy that she is all grown up and moving out this year and I'm very glad I was able to be with her.
We started the day off at the beach alongside this inflatable shark and themed challenges...

ALL OF THE LIGHTS.
HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVE!
"The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned"
Isaiah 9v2
Here are a few (definitely not all, sorry) of the lights around Leeds this year. I love the magic of this time of year and the lights make it all the more special. The most special thing is what Christmas really represents - God sending Jesus into the world to save us and that is what I am most thankful for. I am also so thankful to be surrounded by amazing family, especially as last year I worked for part of Christmas.
I hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow!

ZACHARY.
For the past seven years my big brother has been working towards becoming a registered stuntman....and he has officially made it! This past weekend, my immediate family (minus one, we missed you Tim) gathered together to celebrate and have our own little graduation.
I'm so proud of how hard he has worked and stuck to his dream despite obstacles.

STARTING NOVEMBER IN STYLE.
This month kicked off with a trip to Oxford to visit my sister Asha along with another sister, Mia. The few days we were together for were really great and filled with long train journeys, exploring the city, country walks, keeping warm under blankets, a lot (but not too many) cookies and getting into the Christmas spirit!
I am so grateful that this month has been and will be filled with family. Here are some photos of our time together.

SUMMER MEMORIES.
Here we are in a new week and it is pretty chilly! The layers are piling on and my shopping list is consisting of blankets, thermals and all things cosy. However, todays post is a bit more summery....
Whilst in Brittany back in August, I filmed a few of our days and have finally got round to putting them together as a little video. I blogged about this trip before but I've enjoyed reliving it recently.

BRITTANY.
Today I'm sharing some photos from just under a week in France with my family.
We've spent quite a few summers in France and this year was no different. We were staying more north than usual but the week was still filled with reading, pool volleyball, board games, good food, (some) sunshine and not much else. Below are some photos from when we ventured out a few times - the countryside around the house, a trip out to a nearby town and the beach.
EVERYWHERE WAS LITTERED WITH HYDRANGEAS IN THE PRETTIEST PINKS.
