MR & MRS LEWIS.

Last weekend two of my lovely friends got married! They asked me to make a little video of the day which I was honoured (and nervous) to do. I've made a couple of little films here and there just for fun and for me to be able to look back on a few fun days or weeks I've had. This felt like a big deal seeing as it wasn't just for me but for one of the biggest days ever for these two and I knew there would be more people watching it then usual but...it was actually great! After I got over this, I enjoyed myself especially seeing as I got to play professional with my super talented best friend who was actually photographing the wedding. I loved looking back over all of the footage when editing this together and being able to see all the moments that may have been forgotten.

Matt and Hannah, thanks for letting me be a part of this day. It really was as fun as it looked and I could have made this video a whole lot longer! Praying for the best start to your marriage and I'm so excited that you're staying so close by.

SUMMER MEMORIES.

Here we are in a new week and it is pretty chilly! The layers are piling on and my shopping list is consisting of blankets, thermals and all things cosy. However, todays post is a bit more summery....

Whilst in Brittany back in August, I filmed a few of our days and have finally got round to putting them together as a little video. I blogged about this trip before but I've enjoyed reliving it recently.

HOLBECK HOLIDAY...PART TWO.

As promised, another post from my holiday in Wales...

For our last evening together, we had a BBQ on the beach complete with fire pit and toasting marshmallows, sunset and silly games. We left in the dark, finding our way across the beach by the light of our phones, smelling of wood smoke. It was so beautiful and a lot of fun, a perfect ending to a great week.

I feel so blessed to know these people and to get to live just around the corner from them. I am very grateful that God has called me to live in this community.

 POPPY!
WE HAD THE PERFECT VIEW TO WATCH THE SUN DISAPPEARING OVER THE SEA..

OXFORD.

Last weekend was spent in Oxford. A perfect mini road trip complete with a walk around the city, great food, a cheesy chick-flick and homemade hot chocolates in pjs. We planned to have a picnic, hoping the weather would be warm and sunny enough to sit out in the park and we were not disappointed! It nearly felt like summer and was an excellent first picnic of the year. I love spending time with these two, just missing my two other sisters!

This is a very quick film of our Saturday.

A QUICK TRIP TO LONDON.

We popped down to London last week to see my younger sister perform in a contemporary dance piece. I'm so happy I finally made it to one of her shows, she is incredible and I was so proud! We managed to fit a lot into the 24 hours we were there for. I had already decided to make a film of the trip but most things we ended up doing, I wasn't able to film. This resulted in the following...a lot of shots of travelling and walking around London!

Music by Mateo Messina "Up the Spout"
I loved creating something fun from the day-to-day and pushing myself to be braver in getting my camera out in public.

GENTLEMAN OF THE ROAD

In the last two years I have seen nearly every musician on my list to see!  Two weeks ago I was lucky enough to spend a weekend in Lewes with some of my favourite people seeing some of the best bands in the world, including the last few on my list. Originally I booked to camp for the weekend with my lovely friend Jeni but in the end three of my sisters, my brother in law, and Jeni's sister booked to come along.
It was SO much fun and I made a little video of the weekend.

I apologise for the poor video quality (I don't have the best camera) and the amateur editing skills. Hopefully it's not too bad for a first attempt.
