THE PEAK DISTRICT.

Whilst in Sheffield last week, we jumped in the car and took a short drive into the Peaks in search of heather. I stayed behind the scenes while Lucy worked her magic capturing some gorgeous couple shots in the fading light.

I'm finally having some holiday! I've been loving hanging out with best friends this week and will shortly be flying to France to enjoy a week in the sun(?), especially as summer seems to have well and truly finished here in England. I wanted to sneak a quick post in before I go as it has been quiet over here.

This past weekend my little sister got married and it was such a wonderful day. A lot of laughter, dancing and joy was going on and I loved being part of it all. I didn't taken any pictures on the big day as I knew so may other people would be and I was enjoying myself too much to keep getting my camera out. The day before they had a small legal ceremony with immediate family and below are some pictures from just after it had finished.

A WINCHESTER WEDDING.

Guess what? I went to another wedding! This time it was to see my incredible friend Tash get married. The wedding was held at her family home and in the tiny village church next door and it was beautiful...something about it felt very 'Father of the Bride'. The day started with an unexpected pre-ceremony chat with the bride, went on to incredible canapés (we may have followed certain caterers around to ensure we tasted each one) and a marquee filled with beautiful white flowers. We finished the night with a LOT of dancing, too many cupcakes and a send off in the rain. A pretty great night.

Speaking of weddings, my little sister is getting married this weekend and I'm SO ready to celebrate with everyone and top up on family time. My beyond talented best friend and creator of the new EVERTHINEphotography is snapping the pictures, a massive bonus for me. It will be beautiful I just know it.

I am very ready for a few weeks break from work. Let my summer holiday commence....

MY LEEDS/ BELGRAVE MUSIC HALL AND CANTEEN.

Belgrave has been open for a little while now and I love that it has a very laid back atmosphere and a huge mix of things on offer including food, music, film screenings, good coffee and a street food festival (which I was so sad to miss). Inside there are neon signs, huge armchairs and beautiful floor to ceiling windows. Since I discovered this place, I have been to see some live music, have a dance for a friend's birthday and, more recently, enjoy drinks in the afternoon sun on the roof terrace. I'm hoping to make it for brunch sometime soon.

Well worth checking out if you're in the area!
